The Enterprise Intelligence Institute announces the appointment of Patrick J. Doliny as Board Chair and Executive Director. Doliny, a seasoned technology and cybersecurity executive and retired USMC lieutenant colonel, will guide the Institute's governance, strategic direction and institutional development.
Enterprise Intelligence Institute Launches at Founding Assembly, Establishing a New Profession
On September 18, 2026, the Enterprise Intelligence Institute was formally established at its inaugural Founding Assembly. The founding cohort signed the Founding Declaration (IEI-001), constituted the Founding Council, recognized the inaugural Founding Fellows, and inaugurated the Institute's research agenda and three inaugural working groups.
CISO LIABILITY WATCH EU Cyber Resilience Act Turns Cyber Reporting Into an Evidence Problem
September 10, 2026 | Enterprise Intelligence Institute On September 11, 2026, a major element of the European Union’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) becomes operational. Manufacturers of products with digital elements will be required to report certain actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe security incidents through the EU’s reporting process. The initial warning can be due within 24 hours of awareness, followed by a fuller notification within 72 hours, with final reporting obligations afterward.
EII Unveils the Guardian of the Digital Enterprise Creed
The Enterprise Intelligence Institute has published the Guardian of the Digital Enterprise Creed — a formal credo calling practitioners to stewardship, truth, and resilience. Members are invited to adopt the creed and invite others to do the same.
