Enterprise Digital Wellness & Trust Working Group

Evidence-Based Trust for the Intelligent Enterprise

Determine whether Digital Trust can be understood as justified confidence that an enterprise's digital capabilities, information, intelligent systems, people, and decision structures will operate with integrity, accountability, resilience, and mission alignment under changing conditions.

Governing Principle

"TRUST SHOULD NOT BE ASSUMED FROM THE PRESENCE OF CONTROLS. TRUST SHOULD BE SUPPORTED, CHALLENGED, AND RENEWED THROUGH EVIDENCE."

Purpose

Investigate what conditions justify trust in the digital enterprise, and whether EII's clinical approach to observation, evidence, digital biomarkers, digital vital signs, enterprise digital wellness, professional judgment, intervention, monitoring, and mission readiness can produce a more evidence-based and operational understanding of Digital Trust.

Foundational Question

"How healthy is the digital enterprise? Does the evidence justify trusting it?"

Why This Work Matters

Trust is increasingly assumed in the digital enterprise without sufficient evidence. This Working Group researches whether trust can be supported, challenged, and renewed through evidence rather than assumed from the presence of controls.
