The Founding Assembly — A Successful Launch
On September 18, 2026, the Enterprise Intelligence Institute was formally established. The inaugural cohort gathered to sign the Founding Declaration, constitute the Founding Council, and inaugurate the research agenda and working groups. This page is preserved as a permanent institutional record.
A profession, formally established
The Founding Assembly convened the inaugural cohort of the Enterprise Intelligence Institute — the moment Enterprise Intelligence became a named, governed profession with a shared body of knowledge, standards, research, education, and community.
The day began with the signing of the Founding Declaration (IEI-001), the act of establishment that names the discipline, states its purpose, and commits the Institute to independence, evidence, and distinction. The Founding Council was constituted through the installation ceremony, and foundational contributors were recognized as Founding Fellows.
The afternoon inaugurated the Institute's research agenda and launched three inaugural working groups — WG-100, WG-400, and WG-600 — with charter presentations and participation calls. The Assembly closed with a preview of the Enterprise Intelligence Summit and a founding cohort reception.
