EII CPE Wallet™
A governed, evidence-backed record of your continuing professional education: verified in, mapped to the credentials you hold, submitted with proof, and reported only where acceptance is evidenced.
EII verifies the learning record. The credentialing body determines whether it accepts the credit.
How it works
Four movements, in this order, for every record you hold.
RECORD
Every eligible EII learning activity becomes a governed CPE record with its own number, its calculation and the source record it came from.
EVIDENCE
Certificates, transcripts, badges and provider records are attached to the record and graded on what they actually support.
MAP
Each record is mapped to the credentials you hold against the requirements their bodies publish — shown as alignment, never as acceptance.
PROVE
Renewal readiness, an audit-ready history and verifiable records: what EII verified, what you submitted, and what a body accepted.
What the wallet holds
EII-issued CPE
Awarded automatically from EII University courses, events, RoundLab simulations, RoundTable exercises, working groups, publications, mentoring and professional service. Each award names the completion record behind it.
Verified external CPE
Conferences, courses and professional activities completed elsewhere, submitted with evidence and validated by EII.
Credentials and requirements
The credentials you hold, their cycle, their required hours, their ethics requirement and their category limits — as their bodies publish them.
Credential mapping
What each record appears to carry toward each credential, with the policy version it was judged against and the category it falls in.
Renewal readiness
Verified, submitted, accepted and remaining hours per credential, with what to do next.
Provenance and audit history
Every act on a record: what was recorded, what was awarded, what was adjusted, by whom, and on what basis.
Evidence, validated in four layers
- Identity — the member the activity is recorded against, and the name on the document.
- Activity authenticity — whether the provider, event and date can be supported.
- Duration — the qualifying time actually recorded, not the time claimed.
- Relevance — alignment to the credential's published domains and categories.
Evidence is graded: A authoritative EII or provider record, B independently verifiable, C document supported, D self-attested.
What EII does not claim
- · That a credentialing body has accepted, approved or will accept an activity.
- · That an EII activity is equivalent to another provider's programme.
- · That an activity is mandatory for maintaining any third-party credential.
- · That a provider relationship exists where EII has not recorded one.
A mapping is not a submission. A submission is not an acceptance. Acceptance is recorded only where evidence of it exists.
Renewal readiness you can rely on
The wallet shows, per credential, what is verified, what you have submitted, what a body has accepted and what remains. Where the credentialing body's acceptance is not held as evidence, it is labelled an estimated renewal readiness rather than a fact.
Private by default
Credential numbers, evidence and records reach you and EII administration only.
Never silently edited
A change to awarded hours is recorded as an adjustment, with its reason and author.
Verifiable
Any EII-issued record can be checked by its record number.
Questions
What is an EII CPE?
An EII CPE is one hour of qualifying professional learning, measured as fifty minutes of qualifying instruction under the EII Continuing Professional Education Standard. Registration, meals, networking, exhibit time and breaks are never counted.
Does the EII CPE Wallet award my certification credits?
No. EII verifies the learning record. The credentialing body determines whether it accepts the credit. The wallet shows alignment to a body's published requirements, and records acceptance only where evidence of that acceptance exists.
Will my credentialing body accept an EII activity?
EII does not claim acceptance on a body's behalf. Where a body's published policy accepts external CPE, the wallet says so; where it does not, the wallet tells you that you must submit it yourself and record the outcome.
What evidence do I need?
External activities should carry a certificate, transcript, digital badge, provider record or official documentation. Evidence is graded A to D, and a declaration alone is recorded as self-attested rather than verified.
What happens to the credits I already have on EII?
Nothing is lost. Existing CPE credits are brought into the wallet as governed records, and the original ledger stays exactly where it was.
Can I correct a record?
Yes. Add evidence, correct metadata, or ask EII to review it. Your original submission history is preserved, and awarded hours are never silently edited — a correction is recorded as an adjustment.
Who can see my records?
You and EII administration. Credential numbers stay private, and EII-issued records can be checked by their record number without exposing your evidence or your credential numbers.
