Welcome to Your EII Membership
An orientation to the Enterprise Intelligence Institute, your membership benefits, and how to get the most from your EII experience.
- Understand the Enterprise Intelligence discipline and the EII mission
- Learn what your membership includes — certification, community, standards, and more
- See the recommended first steps for new members
Your First 90 Days — The EII Member Journey
The member journey is your own record of your first 90 days — what brought you here, the pathways you chose, the question you are carrying, your first meaningful benefit, and the plan you are working to. It is not an assessment of you.
- Begin at MyEII → My 90-Day Journey, or from the invitation on your dashboard
- Say what brought you here and what would make membership valuable — your words drive every recommendation
- Choose your pathways: Research, Standards, Education, Professional Practice, Community, Enterprise Impact
- Hold a question for your first EII Round — it stays a draft until you choose to start it
- Receive up to three learning and connection recommendations, each with the reason it was offered
- Record your first meaningful benefit, with 30, 60 and 90 day check-ins that ask your questions
- Your journey never changes a membership, entitlement or credential, and EII never measures you by how often you sign in

The Intelligence Model Canvas
The Intelligence Model Canvas is an EII member value-add that helps leaders describe their enterprise through nine connected building blocks, connect to the Clinical Map, generate Strengthening Opportunities, and practice clinical thinking through guided reflection and facilitated review.
- Open a Clinical Map workspace and select the Intelligence Canvas tab to begin
- Work through nine blocks adapted from the Business Model Canvas with EII clinical interpretations
- Use the guided interview or edit directly — 'Not yet known' is always valid
- Connect each block to Clinical Map elements with bidirectional, many-to-many links
- Generate Strengthening Opportunities — observations for investigation, not diagnoses
- Record clinical reasoning in the Clinical Thinking Journal
- Submit for facilitated review by a designated EII facilitator
- Export with attribution, provenance, and disclaimers intact
The Clinical Thinking Journey
The Clinical Thinking Journey is a structured practice module that helps you develop clinical reasoning skills through fictional scenarios, evidence packets, guided response prompts, and reviewer feedback. It is organized around five developmental commitments and five practice milestones.
- Check if the pilot is enabled for your account — look for 'My EII Journey' in your MyEII sidebar
- Read and acknowledge the five developmental commitments (Understand Before Intervening, Distinguish Evidence From Assumption, Act Within Your Authority, Remain Accountable, Reassess and Strengthen)
- Complete clinical missions — fictional scenarios with evidence packets and eight response prompts
- Submit responses for review by an authorized reviewer and receive criterion-level feedback
- Track your progress toward five milestones: Observation, Evidence, Authority, Accountability, and Reassessment
- Participation points track activity only — they are never labeled as intelligence, competence, or trustworthiness
- Milestones require reviewer confirmation — points alone cannot unlock them
EII Round™ & EII RoundTable™
The EII Round and EII RoundTable are the flagship integrating practice of Enterprise Intelligence. A Round is a structured method for understanding an enterprise condition through observation, evidence, competing explanations, challenge, judgment, intervention, and reassessment. A RoundTable is a facilitated exercise that applies the Round method to realistic enterprise scenarios for mission readiness.
- Start a Round from MyEII → Rounds to work through a real enterprise condition using the 11 foundational questions
- The EII method is a loop: Observe, Explain, Challenge, Judge, Decide, Intervene, Monitor, Reassess
- Use the AI Round Assistant for proactive next-step guidance at every stage
- Create a RoundTable exercise to practice the method with your team using scenarios, injects, and after-action reviews
- Browse the template library for pre-built RoundTable exercises and Round Academy for educational content
Complete all 14 steps to finish your onboarding. Each step takes just a few minutes.
