A clear academic identity
Eligibility Requirements
Partner with an accredited university EII supplies: - Curriculum - Frameworks - Faculty expertise - Labs - Applied research - Practicums - Industry credentials The accredited university supplies: - Academic authority - Degree or academic-credit governance - Registrar - Transcript - Student services - Accreditation coverage, subject to accreditor approval - Academic quality processes This can establish academic credibility faster, but EII would not ordinarily become independently eligible for EII.edu. The partner might host EII programs under its own .edu domain.
Institutional Partners and Collaboration
Acquire or combine with an existing institution EII could explore acquiring, merging with or assuming control of an existing authorized or accredited institution. This is not a shortcut around regulatory review. Changes of ownership, control, location, name, programs and governance typically require approval from state authorities and the accreditor. A .edu domain also cannot simply be bought, sold or transferred to an unrelated entity under EDUCAUSE policy. EDUCAUSE This route could be faster in some circumstances, but it carries considerable legal, financial, accreditation, and inherited-liability risk.
The Enterprise Intelligence Institute welcomes responsible collaboration across disciplines while maintaining rigorous standards for contribution, provenance, evidence, attribution, intellectual property and professional judgment.
EII Working Groups are contribution environments. Membership alone does not guarantee participation. Sponsorship does not create Working Group authority. Commercial relationships do not create Working Group authority. Working Group participation is based upon contribution, expertise, relevance and EII governance.
