Today marks the formal establishment of the Enterprise Intelligence Institute, EII, an independent professional institution created to advance the science, standards, research, education, professional development, and practice of Enterprise Intelligence.

EII defines Enterprise Intelligence as an emerging professional discipline focused on helping leaders understand, measure, and improve the health, intelligence, and readiness of the modern digital enterprise.
